Solartricity and Windtricity Terms & Conditions

I. Summary
Under the CPS Energy Solartricity Program participants purchase solar generated electricity for an additional $0.015 per kWh; under the CPS Energy Windtricity Program participants purchase wind farm energy for an additional $0.01 per kWh. The Solartricity Program and the Windtricity Program are available to electric customers in the CPS Energy service territory (“Participant(s)”).
II. Termination/withdrawal
If a participant wishes to terminate their enrollment, they may contact CPS Energy at 210-227-3639 or email CPS Energy at [email protected]. Termination will be effective that billing cycle.
III. Miscellaneous provisions
This service is provided per the Renewable Energy Service Rider (E19) and is subject to revisions. CPS Energy cannot guarantee that the solar energy or wind energy production will exactly match energy consumption of participants; the combination of time varying use patterns of customer and time varying production patterns from the sun and wind will require the use of supplemental conventional energy resources to fully meet energy needs of participants.
IV. Terms and conditions
By agreeing to these Program Terms & Conditions, Participant:
- Acknowledges that Participant has read, understands, and agrees to these Program Terms & Conditions; and
- Gives CPS Energy permission to utilize your billing contact information for purposes of enrollment verification and bill processing.
The Programs are managed and operated by CPS Energy, having an office address at: 500 McCullough Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78215.
